About Us
The private school HOPE SCHOOL is the first school in Martinique to succesfully educate children with high potential.
It is an alternative Christian school outside of contract, which allows for pedagogical freedom.
It has an associative status (association law 1901).
The school follows official programs while allowing children to grow up respecting Christian moral values.
It is controlled by a National Education inspector.
In order to guarantee quality teaching , the Association has chosen to work with experienced professionals from the National Education system, qualified professionals who are competent and trained in the teaching profession.

Educational freedom and
regulatory framework
Schools must ensure the safety of children and ensure that their teaching complies with the Common Core of Knowledge, Skills and Culture, defined by law. This core establishes the knowledge and skills that each student must master at the end of compulsory schooling, from 3 to 16 years old.
Although subject to a strict legal framework and inspections, these schools remain truly free in:
• The choice of their educational model,
• Their teaching methods,
• Their programs,
• Their teaching staff,
• Their school textbooks,
• Their organization of the school schedule,
• Their vision and their educational values.

OUR VISION OF THE CHILD
Look at the child and believe in him
Every child is unique. They deserve unique attention, within a group that is also unified.
A being in the making
Every child is, at his level, educable and can evolve. Little by little, he acquires
autonomy, an ability to think for oneself through learning
and responsibilities adapted to their level.
An emotional being
Every child deserves respect, kindness, integrity and encouragement just like everyone else in the school.
A responsible being
Class life is privileged. Students actively participate in school life.
Our History
The Hope School was born from the experience of a mother, a teacher and director at the National Education who could not find any answers for her special child.
A mother who was summoned every year for almost 20 years of schooling.
Existing structures are not adapted to the fundamentally different functioning of a child with high potential.
Still too little known these days, giftedness is not just the fact of producing good academic results, giftedness is a particular way of functioning, a way of thinking different from that of others.
This complex thinking puts the high-potential child out of step with the expectations of the world around him.
